Soft Stop

Recommended Posts

I know there are lots of threads about this in other places, but I want to hear from people who were banded about the same time as me.

I have had three fills, and am currently at 2.1. I'm feeling good restriction and think I may have found my sweet spot. Yay! However, I have no clue when to stop eating. I don't eat much, but have found that if I eat just one bite too many, I throw up. I don't hiccup, feel full, or have constant burps before hand on any kind of regular basis. I just can't seem to find the pattern yet!

So, my question is, do you guys have a soft stop and, if so, what is yours?

Thanks so much for the info!!!

my soft stop is 1/2 - 3/4 cups of food and I eat slowly (15-20mins) but not too slowly that I overeat. Morning I can only do a shake, restriction is greater. And right before bed, forget it, which is good!

I was pretty determined to find the place to stop, I was really tired of throwing up.

I can only eat 2-3 bites of real food. Vegetables, meat.

Processed stuff goes down easier.

I take a bite, chew forever, then when I feel a freedom, no pressure, or anything, I can burp OK, then I take another bite.

Sometimes I get so needing food, calories, something to satisfy the head hunger that I compromise and have something processed.

Learn by doing, I guess.

Wish you well.:hungry:
