I was a size 9 and still am, but I now take a medium width instead of wide.

however, some people's size goes down a bit, too (like from a 9 to an 8 or 8.5)

YES.

I went from a 7.5-8 to a 6-6.5

On the bright side I got to buy new shoes, lol. INCLUDING tall boots that I hadn’t been able to wear in YEARS.

This actually gives me so much hope. I have all these great shoes in a size 7N, but the past few years my feet have grown to a size 8. I've been thinking about selling/donating them, but maybe I should wait a while after my surgery to see what happens?

yes - there's a chance you'll be able to wear them again...

I'm resurrecting this thread- I was wondering about this and a quick search shows you guys have had this discussion before. I have been wearing size 11ee, but lately, my feet seem to slide around a bit in my shoes. I went back to a pair that was normal width and they seem to fit better. For years, I was a 10 1/2 D and I am wondering if I'll go back to that. I think I still have some in my closet.

My wife went down .5-1 full size did but I didn't. I've always had big feet even before I put on weight. 14 4E before surgery and still wear that now.

I went from a women’s US 11 wide at my heaviest to a current 8.5-9 depending on the shoe.
I put on my oldest’s shoes on accident the other day because they’re the same color as mine and was like “hmm this feels a bit snug.” But I guess a well worn 7 1/2 fits in some cases, too. 😂

I never gained weight in my feet so my size didn't change as I lost the pounds. One thing that did change though is my calf size! I can wear tall boots now, which I never could before (even the standard wide-calf boots were too small for me).

I still wear a 9, but I'm a medium now instead of a wide.

SAME!

I was so happy when I was able to zip up some tall boots over my calves. I barely (just barely) fit into extra-wide-calf boots early in my obesity "career", but the last years just before surgery I couldn't anymore, even if I put on one 2 sizes up.

Now I can even wear jogging pants tucked in them just fine, lol.

I went from a 38.5/39 to a 38. My feet were slip sliding around in my sandals & flopping about in my closed in shoes. I think they’re a little narrower too as my little toe doesn’t get as sore as it used too (from pressure on a nerve).

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
