Sezdownunder 0 Posted June 13, 2020 Hey there ☺️ I’m in Australia so things may be a little different here, but I’m sure all our concerns would be on the same level 🤷♀️ i had the band removed in November after 10yrs of vomiting everything i ate (yay!! 🥳🥳) and now am a few weeks away from the MGB- my biggest problem after the bank removal was the gas in my shoulder- and I spent my first few hours post surgery walking around the ward swinging my arm around like a loony - obviously this is not going to be an option post MGB- does anyone have any suggestions? Hop_Scotch 1,632 Posted June 13, 2020 I am pretty sure they will have you up walking as soon as you are able. Hope it all goes well for you.
Bastian 458 Posted June 14, 2020 yeah you'll be up asap and walking. The days of bed rest post-op are long gone. Ask for some painkillers if the gas pain gets too much and a heat pack. It's horrible pain huh
