RENPHO SCALE RESULTS - can someone help me interpret the results

Recommended Posts

Hello there Mike here

I finally got my scales in the mail from Amazon.

New fancy Bluetooth RENPHO scales and the first time I've ever seen these kinds of results and measurements before.

Would like to know what people think or if there are any medical people here who can explain things???

Much appreciated.

This is my lowest weight yet.

If you click on the “values” it will show you where on the spectrum you are. Your Metabolic age refers to your fitness level (age) as opposed to chronological age. If you have questions, I would imagine Renpho website should offer add’l guidance??

As you weigh each day it will of course update and show your trends over time. One thing’s for sure, it shows you’re drinking your water!😁

Wow, that is really cool. Is it had to work? I'm just starting my journey and something like that might be helpful.

AWESOME!! I wish you had had this pre WLS to watch how it changes! For instance, mine shows I’m 4 years OLDER than I am😥...but the good news, pre WLS I was 6 years older🤯, so it’s fun to watch the progress.

It will be a great help as you follow your bone, muscle mass, etc.

CONGRATS Superman! You have hit it out of the park of life!!!!

Yes it would have been handy to have from the beginning.

And no it's really straight forward just uses Bluetooth on your Phone and the app to connect and show the results and it can keep track of all your RESULTS.

@Lily66 yes now I've lost all the weight I want to add muscle tone :)

I bought Renpho smart scale from Amazon after I saw your data. Used first time today. Amazing info I can follow throughout my WL journey. It said my metabolic age was 74[emoji33] and I'm 67. See how that changes. My BMI is 38 down from 44.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
