catsmama1984 0 Posted May 27, 2020 Hi my name is Jennifer i am new here. I had my gastric sleeve surgery done on September 11th of 2018. Well since this stay in home thing, i have gained some weight and i am not liking it one bit. And my husband is home all the time now since his disability got approved, and i dont like doing things in front of people no matter who they are including my mom, i am weird i know. But my question is how can i lose weight, should i do high Protein Drinks for a week and nothing else or should i do the post op steps all over again?Sent from my LM-Q710(FGN) using BariatricPal mobile app

catwoman7 11,220 Posted May 27, 2020 I agree with the above posters. I'd just start really monitoring what you're eating. Start logging your food again if you're not already doing that, and try to figure out how many calories a day you're averaging, and then cut back from there. Gradually. As in cut out 100 calories a day for awhile. After a couple weeks, if nothing's happening, then cut by another 100. Rinse and repeat. also, go back to what you were doing the first year, once you were a few months out - as in Protein first, then veggies - and then, if you still have room, maybe a small serving of fruit or whole-grain carbs. 1 PlanetHopper reacted to this
