May Surgery Buddies?

I am scheduled for RNY on May 15. I’ve been calling the doctor and they haven’t had any answers for me about whether or not the surgery would be postponed. But I got the call from the hospital pre-op saying I am on for the 15th! I’m so nervous! Anyone else having RNY in May? (I’m 41, starting weight is 255.)

My surgery is now cancelled. 😭 I don’t understand why the hospital called me on Friday to confirm, and now the doctor is calling me today to cancel. But there’s nothing I can do. So disappointing!!

Oh no!!! I’m so sorry! (Hugs) did they give you any reason? I’m sure it’s for your safety but that doesn’t change the disappointment! I keep holding my breath not at all sure mine won’t be canceled too!

I'm due to have surgery on May 24. Hating my clear liquid diet. I would rather never eat sweets again than consume sugar free shakes!
