Stef--I'm in Dallas...Where is the dress shop?

Whoa! You are in Dallas? What part? We gotta do lunch! LOL

It is in Sam Moon Center at Loop 12 and 635. Don't ask me the name of the joint, but it is about four shops to the left of Sam Moon Home. One look at the prices and you will know you are there!

That's right! You are in God's Country, too! Where abouts are you, Wombat? I am technically Ft. Worth, but really more like Hurst. BigBaby is in Duncanville. Are you within "lunching" distance, too?

Who else here is in Texas?

I live in McKinney; work in Plano; go to church in Irving. The rest of my family is in Irving as well. I just moved North last year to be closer to my job.

I forgot that you were in Hurst. I remember you posted about your fill doctor there. I called them but they won't take me unless I turn over all of my care to them. I will be switching to them when my "free" year is up. I cannot continue to drive to Houston everytime I need a fill!!

I've been lucky that I haven't gotten too tight and had to do an unfill. I know the farther along the more that can be an issue. I've already had 4 fills :scared:

Have a great weekend y'all!!! My hell week at work is almost over and I think I'm going to crash this weekend!!!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
