sanderro 0 Posted November 29, 2007 Hi Everyone... I'm getting ready to go to the hospital for my surgery. I'm so excited but a bit nervous. I was originally scheduled for surgery on 11/1 but my surgeon had to cancel - I had to wait another 29 days but it will be worth it. I can't wait to start losing! Good luck to you all! sanderro 0 Posted November 30, 2007 Debbie & Wendy: Thanks for the warm wishes! I am glad to have it over with. I ended up staying the night at the hospital because I had a hard time waking up from anesthesia. I normally bounce right out of it but they must've really put me under. I just got home and I am in hardly any pain, just the gas/bloating in my upper abdomen. How long does that take to go away and is there anything I can do to speed that up? tyman311 0 Posted December 4, 2007 I was banded 30th... Can you tell me how much liquid you are taking in? I am trying to go back to work tomorrow. The biggest problem seems to be the gas in my upper abdomen. I feel full and am afraid to keep taking in fluids. I'm not taking in very much at all. Any advice!:help:
Sades 4 Posted December 4, 2007 It will take a few days to go down. As long as you keep the fluids up, Water, Protein Shakes or whatever else you drink, you should be fine. I didn't drink much water but the nurse told me as long as I was getting some water and other fluids. Good luck.:clap2::clap2:
