One week post Bypass and I'm allowed to add eggs, hummus, cottage cheese, mashed Beans and yogurt to my liquids. I ate an egg this morning. It was DELICIOUS. No problem. And I've been queasy in the past. Hope they go well for you!

I am allows those too, was just reporting that a reknown Bariatric surgeon had said his patients had a harder time with scrambled eggs that fried/poached - so I mentioned I hoped that was not the case with me (and since I found it very interesting).

Calling all June18th peeps!

I had my official pre-op yesterday and my covid-19 test (I am sue many of you did). For those of you who haven’t had the covid test, please don’t let people scare you. It isn’t close to be as bad as an IV, it is actually a lot like when you get Water in your nose in the pool and it burns except the test isn’t that strong a sting and it’s 10 seconds per nostril (the mild sting is about half that time).

This is about to get real! 😯

Today’s our day! Can’t wait!

Had my gastric sleeve 6/2/2020. Feeling pretty good. Weight stalled at the moment, but from what I am reading...normal. I have lost a total of 25.9 pounds since liquid diet start on May 19th and 10 of that is since surgery. First few days after surgery were ROUGH! Now, a lot better!

Congrats to YOU! How are feeling? Yes, this stall is SO frustrating but as long as we know we are doing what we are supposed to, we will be fine 👍

I’m scheduled for June 25th through Blossom Bariatrics.

Good luck this week. I am scheduled with Blossom for mid August. My biggest concern is flying with Covid cases on the rise. When you are up to it, update us on your experience.

First time poster. I have my sleeve scheduled for June 26th. Just finished my 1st week of liquid diet and it’s not been easy. Lost 10lbs, but I’m wanting to eat so bad, but always afraid of the doctor rescheduling due to not enough liver shrinking....

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
