Nikojr 0 Posted June 13, 2020 My surgery was outpatient too. I got to the surgical center at 7:30am, started my surgery around 10am and was out by 12:30pm. They kept me there for 6 hours after the surgery just to ensure I was okay and had not complications. It may be that you are lower risk which is why you're able to have it on an outpatient setting.Thank you Sent from my SM-G973U using BariatricPal mobile app
StarMonroe 8 Posted June 13, 2020 Yes! I had my surgery June 8 and I’m glad it’s over. I am now recovering at home and have already lost 16lbs since my post op visit on June 3rd. It’s been five days since my surgery and I’m still Stage 1 diet which is all liquids.. I would love a freshly fried piece of chicken let me tell ya... Lol but I’ll survive 🙄 Good luck to all who are scheduled soon!!

cwhisnant 3 Posted June 14, 2020 My requirement was to have the covid test no fewer than 5 days before surgery, I was going to do it Monday & where I had it done said they are taking 5 to 7 days to get results, so they advised me to do it Friday. 1 jstanfield reacted to this
