kathleen0909 7 Posted March 24, 2020 I am 3 weeks out from gastric bypass surgery and I am struggling with being able to sleep. Melatonin did nothing. Do hormonal shifts contribute to this? I’ve never had trouble sleeping lol. The only thing that works is taking .25 mg of Xanax but I don’t want to live on that.
catwoman7 11,220 Posted March 25, 2020 hormone issues seem to be pretty common after WLS. I haven't heard much about it affecting sleep specifically (I hear about emotional issues and screwed-up menstrual cycles A LOT, though), but that sounds plausible..
