RainbowBrite57 153 Posted March 14, 2020 I'm a natural worrier when it comes to things I can't control. I had my 2nd of the 6 weight loss doctors appointments required by my insurance for WLS surgery at the beginning of this month. I am scheduled for my next appointment on April 6th. I am getting very worried that the doctors office will end up closing due to coronavirus precautions and I'll miss my appointment for the month of April. If that happens, I'll be back to square one unless insurance allows some kind of waiver due to the circumstances. I know there is absolutely nothing I can do about it and that only time will tell, but I wish I could mute this inner voice of mine! 1 CammyC reacted to this
It's time. 145 Posted March 14, 2020 My doctor had scheduled a group meeting to discuss the pre-op diet and post op diet etc, but now have changed it from a 4 hour group to a one hour individual session. I don't know how they expect to cover 4 hours of info into one hour. I'm scheduled for mid april surgery and expect it to be delayed, but who knows. I think everyone is on a day by day life. 1 RainbowBrite57 reacted to this

Here's hoping that both of ours works out exactly as it's supposed too!

Mine did the diet stuff individually in 2 separate appointments of 1 hour each. Lasted maybe 45 min each. Without a large group asking questions it goes faster truly. And I liked it better- felt more Tailored to me rather than just a generalization. 1 RainbowBrite57 reacted to this
