mousecat88 2,281 Posted May 27, 2020 I've only tried edibles twice. The first time it did nothing. The second time I took an antacid and ate a bit beforehand on recommendation from someone more experienced and... it kicked it quickly and very strongly. 1 Tracyringo reacted to this
Angelove22 5 Posted May 27, 2020 I started using edibles about 9 months ago to replace the alcohol “vice.” I have a fatty liver and although have never been a heavy drinker, it gave me the incentive to just stay away from alcohol altogether, and gave me an “excuse” to not drink even socially. I found that the high from marijuana was much preferred over the intoxication from drinking, you can be totally chill but still have control over your actions. The problem with marijuana is I get the munchies really bad and have no control in that area. I am afraid to do edibles or vape post op for fear that I would not overeat again. I’m only 9 days out so my new habits need to be more solidified before getting high again ... thoughts? 1 Tracyringo reacted to this

You can see what strains cause the munchies aka are good for chemo patients, for example, and what strains aren't. I am 5 days out and I have had a couple of hits today, but I really cant afford to cough so I will be waiting a few more days. I didn't get the munchies on 2 hits so I am okay but I understand your plight.
