Harry Pillsbury 0 Posted March 4, 2020 I am in my fifth week post gastric sleeve bypass op. I am feeling much better but am still nauseous in the morning and occasionally in the evening. Sometimes this leads to vomiting. Is this typical ? My main doctor/surgeon didn't seem too concerned. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments ? Many thanks! AJ Tylo 1,399 Posted March 4, 2020 I think you need to adjust your food and Water intake. It is typical but you my feeling is you are waking up Deprived of Protein or water and you are getting a form of sea sick. No doubt if i do not take in eneogh calories or water and go to bed i feel Dizzy and sea sick in the morning. Try filling up 2 hours before you go to bed and and early afternoon. I think you are running low on the Fuel you need to keep going. Have you done a blood test to see your levels? May find out you are low on a VIt like Iron or Vit B that is what is making you light headed 1 1 ImsexyandIknowit and Harry Pillsbury reacted to this
BrendaV2262 3 Posted March 5, 2020 Nausea. Well, I am in my 17th week. Monday will be 17 weeks since my surgery. I still throw up. Actually, I like it, except when it is acid. It us nature's way of telling me I ate too much and my stomach has to expell the excess. That's a good thing!
Harry Pillsbury 0 Posted March 5, 2020 AJ/Brenda, thanks for your responses. My blood tests have come back ok and I am going to try to see if maybe changing the Vitamins that I take in the morning will help.
