MarvelGirl25 2,168 Posted February 26, 2020 This happened to me right out of surgery too! I was crying almost everyday once I got home and was super depressed. My mood was all over the place and when I asked my doc why, she told me it could be a combination of the anesthesia with just the feeling of regret most people experience when first doing the surgery. I'm also assuming the body is in shock so that can alter your feelings a bit. Eventually you will be back to your old self!
catwoman7 11,220 Posted February 26, 2020 (edited) It's very common. A lot of people claim it's due to hormones flooding your system. Estrogen is stored in fat cells, and with the rapid weight loss, it's suddenly released. It balances out after a few weeks (or sometimes months), though Edited February 26, 2020 by catwoman7
