Miss Liss 14 Posted February 25, 2020 Hello all! I had Gastric Sleeve surgery on 4/9/19. I am coming up on my 1 year anniversary but I am still 20lbs or so away from losing 100lbs. At month 6 I experienced a 3 month stall that I just recently broke after trying intermittent fasting. I'm kinda bummed that I probably won't meet the "100lbs down in a year" goal. Did anyone else NOT lose 100lbs in their 1st year? If you didn't, were you upset or discouraged about it? 1 Provost reacted to this
AJ Tylo 1,399 Posted February 25, 2020 I made it but i am male so we have it easier as usual but Bummed does a date really matter? Look at how healthy and happy you are! So you get there in a few months does the date really matter! Be proud of what you have accomplished and will accomplish - Do not get down 3 Lynda486, Miss Liss and glannin reacted to this
Machalo 283 Posted February 25, 2020 Congratulations on all of your success! Try to Celebrate how much healthier and happier you are as a person in general instead of focusing on a time deadline. You'll get to your goal weight, just keep to the program. HUGS 2 JessLess and Miss Liss reacted to this
JessLess 1,163 Posted February 25, 2020 My stretch goal is to lose 100 lbs. I'm a year and six months out. I've been the same weight for a while now. If I don't gain and can extend myself more at the gym to make what I have look a bit better, I'll be thrilled. No reason to get hung up on a particular number. I would look at all the gains you've made with your health, wearing smaller sizes, or other NSVs. 1 1 Gottanewlife and Miss Liss reacted to this
Lynda486 784 Posted February 25, 2020 Congratulations on your terrific weight loss. I am thinking I may try fasting as well. Only, I love my coffee and Creamer in the morning. I wonder how that works? Anyway, you are doing great, celebrate! 1 Miss Liss reacted to this
