blahblahblah 4 Posted November 28, 2007 I thought I was immune to Hair loss after never losing any after my pregnancies and not having any loss until NOW...LOTS of har loss...which doesn't but me too much since I have a ton of hair... BUT...I don't want to clog my drain...so...any suggestions as to what to put in my drains. My one shower has a flat drain and the second has a recessed drain! Thanks in advance! littlelove 0 Posted November 28, 2007 My mom had the gastric bypass, she and many of the other people in her support group lost a lot of hair! Hope you find a strainer, ace hardware, even Walmart has those. She takes liquid vitamins to help. Now, a year later, she seems to be back to normal.
FarmerE 0 Posted November 29, 2007 I have a hair catcher that I bought from Bed, Bath and Beyond. It has suction cups that go over the drain so it should work with any type of drain. I started getting these after I clogged the drain before being banded with my long hair. After banding and a major haircut, I still use them. The only problem I have with them is that they seem to get gross kinda quickly and it's just me in that shower. I just stocked up on them and trade them out pretty regularly. mmcbelle 0 Posted November 29, 2007 As opposed to "catching" the hair you could let it go down the drain and treat the drain. I treat our drains monthly with hot Water flushing and bleach followed by more hot water. Keeps them running clean and smooth (the bleach eats the hair). You just might have to do it more often.
