Pansypicker 32 Posted February 19, 2020 I just tried the Fairlife core shakes and WOW it sooo much better than Premier Protein shakes! Going to try the Fairlife nutrition shakes later. Anyone else prefer these? I believe these are going to be a life saver with the pre-op diet!! 2 MarvelGirl25 and IWantTheDream reacted to this

Pansypicker 32 Posted February 20, 2020 Update!! I tried the Fairlife Nutrition shakes, Delish!! Fairlife Core is just as delish!! But I can only find them at BJ's and Amazon. Amazon is pricey for it. Its only $16.99/12 pk at Bj's. Now I feel like I could get through the pre-op diet stage drinking these. I could see me drinking these for rest of my life! I honestly can not believe this is a Protein drink!! They taste just like regular chocolate milk!! The fairlife vanilla core tastes like melted icecream!! 2 chica tuya and MarvelGirl25 reacted to this

over65 133 Posted March 2, 2020 Fairlife Core is made by CocaCola and packs 26g of sugar. That is ridiculous amount of sugar for weight loss. Also, its source of Protein is neither whey or caesin. So low quality source of protein. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

However, the milk has more protein, more Calcium and less sugar than regular milk, and I like the taste. She had no problems with the milk. I use the 1%, and I use it to make cream of wheat, and I have also made a Protein Shake with Iconic Protein Powder.

lisafrommassachusetts 319 Posted March 3, 2020 @MarvelGirl25; Some of the Fairlife shakes have very high carbs; some have lower, but then you end up with less Protein. Here is a label from one of their chocolate shakes: you'll see it has 11 g of Sugar and 17g total carb. Some are even higher! If the above one is for a shake, I'd love to try it, because the milk is really tasty.
over65 133 Posted March 3, 2020 I was talking about Fairlife Core shakes, not the milk. Sent from my SM-T580 using BariatricPal mobile app

lisafrommassachusetts 319 Posted March 3, 2020 Confusing. The smaller one has 26g of sugar, but the biggest one only has 5! 1 Sarah_from_Indiana reacted to this
over65 133 Posted March 3, 2020 Fairlife recently came out with the lower sugar shakes. So be sure you read labels. Has Monk Fruit, Sucrulose, and Stevia. Sent from my SM-T580 using BariatricPal mobile app
