Lynda486 784 Posted February 11, 2020 Yesterday I went in and had both my hips injected for Bursitis. Today I am in some pain for sure. Has anyone experienced expanding pain after surgery? I felt so much better until the last month. Maybe it is the weather, I do notice it more when it snows, rains or sleets on us! Any ideas on exercises I can do for Bursitis or hip pain? I don't really want to spend the rest of my life gimping around! Thanks!
GradyCat 3,695 Posted February 11, 2020 I'm pretty sure it's just the weather affecting you. There shoulnd't be any correlation to the weight loss surgery.
Lynda486 784 Posted February 11, 2020 I don't think it is the surgery either. Must be my age and the weather. But, I have had arthritis since I was 19!
Uomograsso 364 Posted February 11, 2020 My hips, knees and ankles have all gotten better since I have lost weight. I have gout and I did have an attack starting about a week after surgery, but I think that was due to me not taking my allopurinol which reduces uric acid whi h causes gout attacks. We also had some cold weather and snow which can also cause gout attacks. Staying hydrated helps as well.
