mcfluffington 179 Posted February 11, 2020 Which surgery are you getting? Bypass could make you more tired. What with the malabsorption and dumping. The sleeve doesn't cause malabsoption or dumping.

The sleeve doesn't cause malabsoption or dumping. I'm not sure that's true. People experience tiredness after all surgeries - I did after my plastic surgery as well. Yes - the lower calories can amplify that, but that happens with the sleeve as well. also, less than half of bypass patients dump. And that can be controlled by limiting or avoiding sugar. I'm two weeks out and just starting to feel more energy. As you can consume more calories and as you heal, energy comes back. But if you don't have any energy to begin with, I honestly don't know how you'll do. As the weight comes off and you can do more things you may find it comes back. Good luck to you!
