maziemommy 8 Posted January 15, 2008 We will be counting down with you. Maybe a fill will "kick in to high gear" the weight loss you want for surgery day.
losingjusme 12 Posted January 15, 2008 hi maziemommy.. i went in for my fill this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised i was down 8 pounds since my last fill last month. so the weight i did gain over the Holidays is gone.... yay
losingjusme 12 Posted January 15, 2008 my goal for after plastics... to never have to shop at The Avenue, Lane Bryant or Target plus section again. i am still too chicken to shop at a regular store cause of "mah big bellie"... im still in a 18/20W bottoms, there are no non-plus sized equivalents to that... so i wait... not so patiently. losingjusme 12 Posted January 18, 2008 i went to my training appointment yesterday and although the weight is not dropping too much, the inches are dropping. since last month, i've lost the following: chest 3/4 inch upper arm 3/4 inch waist 3/4 inch thigh 1/4 inch calf 1/4 inch my body fat percent is about 32.3% (cant remember exact cause im at work), 'normal' is 31.9%... i'm getting there!!! kareyquilts 1 Posted January 18, 2008 LJM: You're doing fantastic! Give yourself credit for all your hard work. Down 8 pounds in a month and lost inches is about as good as it gets! The PS is going to give you the boost that you need. It's all good. I hope you can take a moment and enjoy your success! (I need to tell myself that too). losingjusme 12 Posted January 18, 2008 karey, i think we all need to do that. i seriously think i have some sort of body dysmorphic disorder. yes, i am still big, but most days, i cant tell a difference between now and 18 months ago. my DH thinks i'm nuts. faithmd 14 Posted January 18, 2008 I hear you, I can't tell a difference, either. Not that I've liost nearly what you have, but I am down a bit and a couple sizes. And having a friend I haven't seen for over a year not mention a thing about it doesn't help. Makes me really think I haven't lost a pound.
losingjusme 12 Posted January 18, 2008 oh Faith, im sorry your friend didnt say anything. that has to be discouraging!
faithmd 14 Posted January 18, 2008 Yup, it stinks. But whaddaya do? She looks like she's gained at least 20 lbs in the past year, so maybe that has something to do with it. So what's the name of the shaper you wear from The Avenue? I'm on their site and I'm looking at the high waist shaping bike shorts for $
