There was a post sometime ago by LGBTQ person looking for friends.

Try the search bar. Maybe you'll find something.

Then you post in their thread and they will get a notice in their email.

Good luck!

Its not i truly would rather hang out with lesbian girls they seem to be more real! I have a few friends that are gay and i prefer going out and hanging out better then the Naples Princess's that are money hungry and a pain in the ass. Not stereotyping anyone but In Naples Florida it is hard to find a good girl who does not have a agenda to date.

The word play could be conceived in another way it never was meant to.

“Good girl” this guy is a creaton

Hi everyone,

I’m 45 yr old, asexual, trans male, queer identified, polyamorous, and disabled. I’m married to one trans masculine guy (20 yrs now!) and we have a second partner, we’ve been with for 11yrs, who is also a trans man. We all live together in Portland, Oregon with four cats and a special needs chihuahua that, I believe, thinks she is a cat too.
That is me in a nutshell!
I’m on my second try to work towards gastric bypass. I backed out halfway through last year. I got scared, I think, But my health has started to decline rapidly so no backing out this time!

Hope everyone is doing well!

Hi All,

I am a 42 year old cis female, heteroromantic asexual. As someone else mentioned, I only recently had the words to explain myself even to myself and am just starting to explore what that means for me. Appreciate the opportunity to connect!

I started another thread for LGBTQIA in the Gastric Sleeve section, but it doesn’t seem like it’s gone down very well...not sure why it was upsetting :(...anyway just wanted to say I’m glad that there are people here like me, and I would love to make more friends here (of all orientations/genders).

A little about me, I’m a writer professionally, I’m 47 and I’m married to a great woman, she’s my best friend.

I’ve also gained about a hundred pounds over the last ten years - health problems have piled up and finally I got the courage to take the step to getting my surgery done.

I’m just 2 weeks preop, I’ve lost 21 pounds so far.

My family members don’t have any issues around their weight so loving though they are, there are just things they don’t get - like not finding clothes that fit in your size that are also stylish, wanting to do things you can’t,

Hope to gain some support here.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
