🌱VeGan❤️HeArT🌱 97 Posted February 1, 2020 I just passed 7 weeks and honestly I feel like eating is a chore. There is no enjoyment in it anymore. I rather drink everything, but nut said I need to stay away from “slider” foods. So I try to eat at least twice a day now. meat and eggs are just horrible to eat anymore. It’s Hard to describe, but it’s not enjoyable. Does anyone else have issues?
catwoman7 11,221 Posted February 1, 2020 yes - and I wish I still did! It's SO much easier to lose weight when you don't want to eat anything. Your hunger and appetite will eventually come roaring back, and things will got a lot more challenging then.
Recidivist 1,141 Posted February 1, 2020 Believe me, it's not hard to describe--we all felt the same way. I found beef and pork nearly impossible in the first several months, and I really struggled to get in enough Protein every day. I'm relatively lucky that my hunger has not really returned in nearly a year, but I can now eat more--and more easily--than I could at your stage. As Catwoman said, enjoy it while it lasts! 1 🌱VeGan❤️HeArT🌱 reacted to this
New&Improved 1,780 Posted February 1, 2020 Unlucky.. I'm glad at 3 months my appetite hasn't come back yet and I'm usually satisfied with my shakes; most days 1 🌱VeGan❤️HeArT🌱 reacted to this
AJ Tylo 1,399 Posted February 1, 2020 yes I am 7 plus months out and eating is a pain in the ass - I go days without eating - But still happy as hell with the weight loss, I just snack all day on food little pieces of meat and veggies in a little bowl 1 🌱VeGan❤️HeArT🌱 reacted to this
JRT Mom 919 Posted February 1, 2020 Sounds like a good reason to become a vegetarian! Seriously, I became one eleven years ago after getting a lap band. I would like to think I did it for ethical reasons, but I really couldn't handle the meat, so I just quit eating it. 1 🌱VeGan❤️HeArT🌱 reacted to this
GradyCat 3,696 Posted February 1, 2020 Sure some foods will be intolerant for you for a while and some still are for me even a year post surgery.
