Brent701 438 Posted January 31, 2020 Shrimp and steamed vegetables definitely ok but depends on how they prepare it. Spices are not well tolerated the first few months. 1 Slownstedy reacted to this
Losingit2018 1,170 Posted January 31, 2020 I think it would be ok. You can’t be sure what they are cooking it in but I think those would be good choices. I went to a Chinese Buffet with my family and had stir fried veggies and chicken.
GradyCat 3,695 Posted January 31, 2020 It's been long enough since your surgery. Should be okay.

JRT Mom 919 Posted January 31, 2020 Egg Foo Young is a good choice. Lots of Protein and not too spicy to irritate your sleeve.
newyorklady20 97 Posted February 5, 2020 I still have not had surgery, but when I'm trying to eat healthy buy I really want chinese food, I will order the steamed shrimp with peas and then a side of dumpling sauce. Or even soy sauce works. Cutting up the shrimp into smaller pieces and then dipping them in the sauce will give me enough of the feeling that I'm having chinese food without all of the unnecessary bad stuff!
