juliegeraci 7 Posted November 29, 2007 Missy, I live in Gilroy and I have a wonderful surgeon who does my fills in San Jose named Dr. Robert McKeen. He takes other doctor's patients if you need a fill doctor who is closer.
Shaniqwaaa 1 Posted November 30, 2007 Oh really? Darn. I just signed a contract with my Dr for the surgery + 5yrs worth of unlimited fills = $7500 ...
juliegeraci 7 Posted November 30, 2007 Missy, that is actually a really good price! I think mine is more like $9k and $200 a fill no matter how many you need. I have spent a lot of money on fills! Good luck. Its exciting.
Iamfiesty74 0 Posted December 27, 2007 I am hoping to have my surgery in Fremont. I have lived in Hayward for 33 years but I have since moved to Turlock.
Kim_in_SF 0 Posted January 7, 2008 Hi all! I live in the Redwood City area and had my surgery done at Kaiser South San Francisco. Great experience all around and my fills are done at Kaiser, too. I unfortunately have a deductible plan, so my fills cost me $100, however, I know others that are on co-pay plans and they only pay $15, $25, etc.
rakes4321 0 Posted January 7, 2008 Hey, we are moving to either the El Segundo/Torrance area or down in San Pedro. We are military, so the surgery is covered, but the fills aren't. I am being banded on Jan 25. The docs think that I could possibly get two to three fills before we leave, but the rest is on my own. Does anyone know of a good doc that will not rape and pillage for a fill? Amy

juliegeraci 7 Posted January 8, 2008 the band itself will not restrict the amount of food you eat. you have a port that allows the doctor to put saline in the tube so it tightens and gives you restriction.
spclk60 0 Posted January 9, 2008 Is it painful to have these adjustments? I have just been turned down by one insurance company, I am now going to apply with our new insurance company. This process takes so long that is discouraging. spclk60
