LRS1983 0 Posted January 27, 2020 I had gastric bypass on Jan 15. At first I was only able to get in a few sips of water/liquid at a time. Now it seems that I can drink a lot more before getting that full feeling. Is this normal?
Hop_Scotch 1,632 Posted January 27, 2020 Yes its normal, your stomach has healed a little, some of swelling will have gone down. Once you get onto pureed, soft and then normal foods you should feel the restriction. 1 Orchids&Dragons reacted to this
GradyCat 3,695 Posted January 27, 2020 Sure, your stomach was sore after surgery and now it's healing and will allow more.
