And i just wondered if anyone knows exactly how long and how much i have to do before my actual surgery. I am so ready to start my journey and have bee. Researching for years now! Nowhere seems to say exactly how long the whole process is in the uk south east before actual surgery date is given. Would it be a better idea to try and fund this myself private? But since it's funded by your govt in my experience here In Australia to get the govt to cover the surgery there's a huge waiting list and a lot of requirements... That is why i used health insurance and paid a gap to have my surgery within months with very little requirements It is best to find a UK NHS group on Facebook or talk to local hospital to see what they require?
