IrishMamaBear 0 Posted January 17, 2020 I am 3 days post op had the gastric sleeve and a hiatal hernia repair. They prescribed me liquid morphine for pain, but I cant find a pharmacy in the area that is able fill it (not sure I want something quite that strong anyway tbh). Any tips for dealing with pain? I'm using the liquid tylenol and it helps for a while, just not quite long enough. I am also walking as much as I can stand to. I mostly just feel like I am moving like a 90 year old. jlb8080 45 Posted January 17, 2020 I stopped pain meds after I left the hospital. It was just gas pain for another day or so and they didn’t help for that. Never had any pain after that. 1 1 IrishMamaBear and rene50 reacted to this
GreenTealael 25,430 Posted January 17, 2020 Call your team and ask them to revise your meds to something more accessible Good Luck and CONGRATS 💚 1 IrishMamaBear reacted to this
MessOfJess 2 Posted January 17, 2020 Call your Dr.'s office and see if they can change it to liquid Oxycodone it should be easier to fill. Also, the hospital that did the surgery (not sure on your insurance) should have a pharmacy and they could probably fill the morphine prescription. 1 IrishMamaBear reacted to this
