pssk 225 Posted January 15, 2020 I’m doing quite well. I was 222 on October 1 and I was 167.5 today. My goal was to hit 155 that I now feel confident that I will hit. So 54.5 lbs down. I am 5’6” and now I have a BMI of 27. I started with a BMI of 35. I may lower the goal when I get there but I’m not sure how that will look at 55 years old. I feel so much better than I did in July at my first appointment. I was 228 then so technically I am down 61 since the summer. How are YOU doing? 1 2 Krimsonbutterflies, rene50 and Deedee12 reacted to this
catwoman7 11,220 Posted January 15, 2020 it depends on your bone structure, too. I'm 60 and look my best at 150 lbs (I'm also 5'6"). I got down as low as 138 two years ago and looked awful. I have a pretty large frame - really broad shoulders, etc. My mother-in-law is also 5'6" and has bird bones. She looks great at 130 and even looks OK at 120. She'd look heavy at 150, I think. 1 1 Krimsonbutterflies and rene50 reacted to this
Kimberly3 71 Posted January 16, 2020 (edited) I'm doing pretty good. Down 42lbs. Reduction in my blood pressure meds. I'm sleeping poorly though since surgery. My energy and stamina have increased greatly. I see my surgeon next week. Had blood work done today. Daisyjayne 124 Posted January 16, 2020 I feel amazing. Sleeved on the 8th October, have lost 26kg since then. My life is no longer ruled by food. The only stress is how to get enough food and Protein in with my tiny tummy. I'm exercising again, my old clothes fit (some are too big!) and I just feel incredible. No more snoring or sore joints. I've lost more than my 8 year old weighs. That blows my mind when I think about it. And so does the fact that I'm only 10-15kg from my goal weight.
pssk 225 Posted January 16, 2020 I struggle with the Water amount each day. I do try but I seem to stay full and then I try to get water in and feel awful. Lately I’m drinking more at night which helps but makes me wake up to pee. Lol I got off my CPAP (no more snoring here either), bp reduced (it was getting terribly uncontrollable), feet feel better...pretty much everything feels better. I am starting to do IF as I would love to hit goal by the end of March when we are going on a cruise.
Panda333 276 Posted January 17, 2020 I had the gastric bypass on oct 1 and struggle a bit with my Water and Protein goals. I'm also a super slow loser but I'm still a loser! Started at 307, 285 ish (not sure they did KG for some reason) on day of surgery and now today I am 248.
