Hop_Scotch 1,633 Posted January 12, 2020 Has the hospital given you any painkillers? Do the staff know you are in significant pain? 1 Losingit2018 reacted to this

Mamsy 2 Posted January 12, 2020 Where is the pain? I was in severe pain the first 24-48 hours after surgery but it subsided.. then if I ate more than 2 oz I would get the same sharp pain. My surgery was 8 months ago and now if I don’t stop I get pain. I really don’t mind because it is my body saying “ok you have had enough “. After a surgery like this it is very important to listen to your body I hope you feel better soon
New&Improved 1,780 Posted January 12, 2020 I was given IV pain killers for the first 48hrs think it was fentanyl; I slept so much 😀
GradyCat 3,695 Posted January 12, 2020 You just had surgery, it'll all get better within 2-3 days. You're in the hospital, the're giving you pain medication, it'll all be fine. Just hang in there.
Losingit2018 1,170 Posted January 12, 2020 Danny, did you have complications? I think that you had surgery several days ago? Like the others have said it will get better quickly. Some people have severe pain and some none at all. Hang in there! 1 Krimsonbutterflies reacted to this
AZhiker 2,253 Posted January 12, 2020 Gas pain can be extreme right after surgery. Are you trying to walk? 1 Krimsonbutterflies reacted to this
