JlDee 1 Posted January 10, 2020 HI all, I had revision from banding to bypass in October and I feel like there is something in my throat constantly on the left side ever since. Does anyone else have this issue. I also have gotten sick once and maybe TMI; but how else do you find these things out.... when I was sick my vomit only came out the right side of my throat. Wondering if anyone has had this experience or should I be concerned????
Losingit2018 1,170 Posted January 10, 2020 Could it be tonsils or adenoids? I would definitely be seen by a dr if I had this issue.

GreenTealael 25,439 Posted January 11, 2020 See your Surgeon and voice your concerns. They may order an endoscopy because it could be a number of things including webbing or stricture Good Luck 💚
elcee 3,341 Posted January 11, 2020 My ears and throat were affected after surgery. I felt like someone had stuffed my head full of cotton wool. It took about a month to resolve. Yours has been going on for a long time so I would be going back to see your Dr. You may need antibiotics
Bastian 458 Posted January 11, 2020 Adenoids and tonsils can and do grow back, go see your Dr to get investigated. It must be so annoying!
JlDee 1 Posted January 13, 2020 Turned out sinus infection and nasal drip was causing irritation to my throat. Thanks all for the confirmation that I wasn’t losing my mind. 1 Losingit2018 reacted to this
