ItalianSuzy 6 Posted January 7, 2020 Did anybody here come home with the draining tube from the hospital. I had surgery 12/31 and I came home with mine. I find it hard to get a comfortable sleeping position. Only two more weeks of all liquid diet for me. Mi can’t wait to have Greek yogurt or something more substantial. Bastian 458 Posted January 7, 2020 I didn't have a drain, did they explain why you have one?
New&Improved 1,780 Posted January 7, 2020 Had drain for only 3 days in hospital was annoying when trying to sleep. Its like a tube that comes from inside your body and Fluid and blood and stuff comes out into the drain bottle/bag and was changed everyday... I assume it helps with the bloating and fluid inside. ItalianSuzy 6 Posted January 7, 2020 My surgeon said as a precaution. She’s a great surgeon so I trust her but it’s been hard. I just am sleeping maybe 3 hours a night. I’m dying for sleep and rest and a little more than liquids.

Some do, but many of us never had them.
