kc892020 90 Posted January 5, 2020 Hi everyone! So I got my date (yay!). My surgery is scheduled for the 13th. Only one week from Monday! Since getting my date I've noticed I've been a little on edge and emotional. I've been particularly sensitive about my appearance. I think I'm nervous about everything: being able to get through recovery, sticking with all these changes for the rest of my life, how I'm going to look after surgery, etc... Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not normally like this, but lately, it's been a problem. 1 Krimsonbutterflies reacted to this
catwoman7 11,220 Posted January 5, 2020 it's probably just due to stress or anxiety because of your upcoming surgery. Most people do get nervous.. 1 kc892020 reacted to this
JRT Mom 919 Posted January 5, 2020 You'd have to be a robot not to feel on edge before you do something so life-changing to yourself. When people are stressed they get irritable and are on a hair trigger with their emotions! When you get this way, take a deep breath and think about how much healthier you will be when it's over. Good luck and keep us posted--you got this! 2 kc892020 and glannin reacted to this
