Cherylmilla 160 Posted January 3, 2020 Yes, I was itchy and I still am. I use a lot of Gold Bond lotion, which helps. Stay hydrated. 1 Krimsonbutterflies reacted to this
KayLow42 28 Posted January 4, 2020 Check your body for rashes. I got an entire abdomen rash after because I ended up being allergic to the surgical glue they used.
CheerfulLoser 72 Posted January 4, 2020 Itching is also caused by pain medicines. 1 Libby63 reacted to this

Dances with Carbs 168 Posted January 4, 2020 Yes I was too. I upped my Water intake from 64 oz to 100 oz a day and I use Nivea skin firming lotion after every shower. It seems to work because I am no longer itchy and my skin looks and feels amazing.
3boys4me2019 7 Posted January 5, 2020 The anesthesia can cause that too. I was really itchy on my belly and I remembered I had the same issue when I had my c-section. I knew it wasn’t pain meds as I didn’t take any after either procedure.
despacit0w0 12 Posted January 5, 2020 I was SUPER itchy post op starting at about 1 1/2 weeks out and it is starting to get markedly better now at a month out. My incisions were so DRY. I live in the midwest so we have very dry winters and it has been really hard not being able to put lotion on my bellySent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

fitnessRN19 11 Posted January 9, 2020 Ended up back at his office yesterday. It’s definitely an allergic reaction from the glue. Steroids for a week. 😢 So I asked about being really tired and occasionally dizzy. He said my body is getting used to less intake and the rapid weight loss. I’m down 20lbs as of today. They like a weight loss of at least 15 in first month so he said I’m an overachiever lol . All in all he was pleased with my progress
Cin1989 3 Posted January 16, 2020 I have also been itchy on my hands and feet and by my neck. I have been using Alegre D cream which has helped. I am getting about 64-80 ounces of Water so I know I’m hydrated. I have been reading that being low in b-5 causes itchy hands and burning itchy feet sensation so I’m thinking of getting the B-50 Vitamins in the store on site. Good luck! I know this is driving me crazy. I’m down 14 pds and surgery date was 12/312019.
