dlund1975 1 Posted January 3, 2020 Ok It has been years since I have posted on here I am six years out since my revision to RNY. However in the last few months and now in the last few days I can feel sharp pain where the small intestines are connected bypassed on the bottom and I can feel the pain. Its getting worse my surgeon has since retired and I have moved its getting worse the pain I mean, I have been trying to ignore it but now I cannot sleep. I became very Anemic a year ago and they never found the cause. I just want to know if anyone else had this pain and what they did. My wife wants me to ignore it however The pain is increasing across the intestine. any ideas 1 Tracyringo reacted to this
catwoman7 11,220 Posted January 3, 2020 there's no way I would ignore that. Go see a doctor. It doesn't matter that your original surgeon is retired - someone else should be able to deal with that.
Biddy zz 🏳️🌈 1,004 Posted January 3, 2020 I agree - get on down to a doctor. It isn’t right! It could be a muscle tear but also an ulcer, or any number of things. Best to know. Keep us posted?
Jazzy1125 1,010 Posted January 3, 2020 go to a doctor and find a bariatric group where you live that will take you on as a patient.
GradyCat 3,695 Posted January 3, 2020 Are there other doctors in your surgeon's practice? See one of them or find a completely new doctor, but get it checked out.
