My incisions were VERY slow to heal. It seemed that they were pink and sensitive for MONTHS! Once my scabs were gone, I started applying BioOil every day. Today, they're barely noticeable.

I have eight scars and haven't treated them at all and they are fading fast!

I used Bio-Oil on them for the first six months post-op and now they are still there but very faded and small. I think it helped.

People heal diffently. I don't get keloid scars for example. However I tested myy method on two of the four scars (didn't bother about the fifth one - it's only 3mm and not showing), the two I buttered up are very nice and gone. The others are not. So about a week ago I started treating the 2 last ones. The retinol "breaks" it up, if one could say that. Its's like all red and fresh, and it has closed a lot more after the "breakup". I have faith😂

Is the retinol something you can buy at any store ? Ugh I need to get it.

Yes, you can. Retinol or tretinol. You can buy products over the counter in any salon or pharmacy/drug store. Look for the ones with 0,1 or more retinol in them. Salon products are usually very expensive. I paid almost 200 USD for a ZO retinol regime before christmas. And then I found out I could buy it at the pharmacy for like 15 USD😂 In my country you can get retinol or tretinol prescribed by the doctor as well. It is just a fancy word for Vitamin A-acid. Yes, acid - that's what it is.

Oh my! I think I found some for $19usd 😊 I couldn't imagine the $200 ahhh I'm so sorry
