CubaRican73 33 Posted January 1, 2020 Is rice considered a soft food? Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app
Hop_Scotch 1,632 Posted January 1, 2020 It hasn't been on a soft food list I've seen but that's not to say it isn't on some food lists. Is it on the food list your doctor gave you? Rice may be too high in carbs for you at the food stage you are at.

catwoman7 11,220 Posted January 1, 2020 the other thing about rice - even if your program allows it (and many don't), it takes up a lot of stomach space for not a lot of nutrition. You need to focus on things that give you a lot of nutritional value since your stomach is a fraction of it's original size.
