**Weight coming off everywhere but mid section** HELP PLZ

Recommended Posts

Well first of all hoping everyone had a decent Xmas :D

Anyway looking at myself naked in the mirror noticed like my legs and arms and shoulder/neck area are skinny as&looking good but still need to lose some off my belly/chest area;

like my legs are half the circumference they used to be and probably lost 1 shoe size.

my arms are half the size as well and my neck/shoulders area showing the proper bones and muscles like a normal person and my face is skinny as well which I'm very happy about; I've dropped multiple shirt sizes as well :)

it's just my belly area and breast that still has some fat/flab left to go and i think another 4 inches off my belly/waist will be great...

is there anything I can do to target the mid section????

I have a bike but definitely looking into a rower machine !!!

been losing weight so well and consistent for 4 months now and after a few days stall I've just dropped 3lbs in 2 days 😀

Thank you all

Sadly, the last pounds to come off are usually the belly. No way to target that I'm aware of.

There really isn't a way to spot reduce one area of your body. The best way to tone up your belly is to keep up with a good cardio routine and it will tone up in time. Of course stomach tightening exercises will help you get there too. Good Luck Mike!

Short answer is no. You cannot target weight loss to a specific body part and have the rest remain the same.

I’m literally in the same boat I have lost my thighs, arms and ALL of my ass lol but my midsection is like a pain to lose any weight but I guess like everyone says the fat in the abdomen is the last and hardest to lose. We got this get in on them crunches and abdominal workouts

      Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
      What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

      I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
