Hop_Scotch 1,632 Posted December 25, 2019 (edited) Follow your doctor/surgeon's post op guidelines - don't be tempted to have bite of anything within a couple of days or weeks of your surgery if its not within the guidelines. Orchids&Dragons 9,047 Posted December 25, 2019 Do not compare your progress to others. We're all on a unique journey. No one else has your combination of hormones/history/age/metabolism/stress/etc. Also, be prepared for stalls. They happen and it sucks. Take your measurements before surgery and regularly thereafter so that when weight loss stalls, you can still see the progress you're making. (Yes, you can lose inches even when the scale doesn't move!) Find some buddies who have surgery around the same time as you. It is great having people to talk with who are at the same stage in the process that you are. 3 Hop_Scotch, GreenTealael and Soon2bSleeved12/2019 reacted to this
GreenTealael 25,430 Posted December 25, 2019 👑 Sustainability is King 👑 What good is committing hardcore to something you cannot handle longterm only to give it up, feel defeated and revert to harmful behaviors? No good at all. Try for long term success by having *realistic* plans that are flexible and managable ❤ 3 Soon2bSleeved12/2019, Orchids&Dragons and Hop_Scotch reacted to this
