Favorite Flavorless Protein Powder?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, I am 10 days post-op and I will likely be on the soft food stage soon. Please drop your favorite flavorless Protein Powder in the comments. I would love something that really blends when cooking.

Thank you in advance.

I have only tried GENEPRO, but it seems to work well in my recipes that I have tried.

Now Sports whey Protein Isolate unflavored. Liked the 5lbs. I ordered so much that I ordered another 5lbs. today. Go's good with the Blue Diamond Unsweetened almond milk, 2 packets of Stevia, And a squirt of Hershey's sugar free Syrup. Even my wife want them. If you can handle cold drinks then add a handful of ice. [emoji7] P.S. The Isolate is 2 ingredients whey protein Isolate and Sunflower lectin. It's better mixed in a blender or nutra bullet. It made up some waffles fine.

Genepro just loss a law suit. They are comparing the products30 grams a serving to others 33.3 gram scoops. 1 tbsp has 14.3 grams in a tablespoon. Couldn't prove with science how 30 grams gets squeezed into 14.3 grams. So each scoop max would be 14.3 grams at the most. The products 14.3 grams may be as absorbing as well as 30 grams, I think not. That's why they got sued.

I've been using Unjury unflavored Protein. It's 21 grams of protein a scoop and I can't really taste it when added to things.

This ^^^^^^ I would never use that brand. Already see that they are dishonest.

Sports now nutrition whey protein Isolate 25g unflavored 81 servings is the same way. I know it is good as waffles, and a shake with Unsweetened almond milk, stevia or Monk Fruit sweetner, and 2 tbsp Hershey's sugar free Syrup blended. Wife loves them also.

I like GENEPRO. It has no taste and practically no texture. I'm going to stick with it. Given the law suit about Protein content, I'm figuring about 15 gm per scoop rather than 30 until I hear otherwise.

I would say your pretty safe there. I actually have a 60 servings bag of it and, I'm planning on using it with my decaffeinated coffee and coffee mate sugar fee fat free Creamer ( it's great). I tried it about a month ago when I received the GENEPRO. Found out about the lawsuit after purchasing. Will say one thing good. Works well in my coffee. Wife even likes it. Hope this helps you.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
