Hello all...... I am sure this has been talked about a million times, but I am looking for information on VSG surgeons in Tijuana. I am considering going to have a gastric sleeve. I feel like I have searched thoroughly looking for a surgeon but all the information I can find seems to be the same. Does anyone happen to have information or recommendations for surgeons and facilities? I have been considering Dr. A , Dr. Valenzuela, Dr. Illan, or Dr. Corvala. I also want to be sure the facility they practice at is clean and up to date. I would appreciate any information anyone could offer. Thank you so much for your time!

Dr. Jalil Illan is a great option. He is accredited by ACS, IFSO, ASMB, and SRC has accredited him as a Master Surgeon in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. The hospital where he performs surgeries, Hospital BC, is also a Center of Excellence in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery by SRC.

Very few hospitals and surgeons in the US have this accreditation and even less in Mexico.
