Need to go back to my old motto nobody got fat eating a reeses cup they got fat from having the whole bag.

You just ate one bag? Heck i would stock up at Halloween with those big tubs from Sams! That and M and M's put me in the cardiac ward for surgery then in the fat guy surgery ward!

I have done a great job of listening to my body. Since surgery I have developed a habit of sneezing just before I am full. My sneeze is the warning sign to stop. After that its 1/2 more bites at max. I am never concerned with overeating at meals but with the sleeve you can eat around it by snacking which was never a weakness for me but its enough to stall weight loss.

While I have spent the past 2 months in a stall the past two weeks I have found myself snacking a lot more partly because I am no longer seeing the results. I am aware its happening and am trying to stop it early.

My confession

I am a chocolate and Peanut Butter *****.

Now that I said it in public forum I feel better but I dont want it to interfere with the weight loss. Burn me at the stake I am a WLS sinner and going to hell.

I dont ever want to go back to where I was but part of why I wanted the surgery was for the natural reminder to stop eating not so I made eating a chore. Nothing wrong with the measure weigh and log community but its something I detest.

Im still searching for those that have achieved long term results with a balanced approach.

You are doing phenomenal. 😊 be consistent not perfect

I’ve searched for people that lose weight/maintain effortlessly. I have not met one yet. Some take a moderate approach and others more discipled. We all have our own path with no judgment. You can guess your calories/macros or have more control by logging.

Hope you break the stall soon, Weight loss may slowdown as you get further out from surgery and when you have less fat to burn.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
