Fazzini Bee 76 Posted December 11, 2019 What the heck is happening to me! This is the first time PO that I have been eating non-stop, due to PMS! I thought that cycle was finally beaten! I am eating anything that comes into view, healthy or unhealthy. Normally I can up my Water and enjoy some extra dark chocolate and I get through. I am terrified that I will have gained weight once this period is over!!! Help me! ( Laughing but serious,) For the record, I have been excessively trying to keep good Snacks and food prep for work, per the usual. I am eating all the good food and extra. 1 Fazzini Bee reacted to this

catwoman7 11,221 Posted December 11, 2019 (edited) surgery doesn't solve that. At first it takes your hunger away (at least for most of us) for a few months. It can also reset your metabolism. And also, for the first few weeks or months, it makes it tough if not impossible to eat more than a few tablespoons. But at some point, you can easily return to the bad habits you had before surgery and gain much - if not all - of your weight back. You have to be diligent for the rest of your life if you want to keep the weight off. My weight quickly heads north if I stop paying attention. At 4.5 years out, I still weigh myself daily, watch my calories, and weigh/measure most things and log everything that goes into my mouth. I've accepted the fact that I have to do that for the rest of my life.
