cbrock1592 0 Posted December 10, 2007 I found that when I cut back on the number of carbs I was eating - only because breads don't like me that much- I saw a tremendous drop in weight. I also bumped my cardio up from 30 mins per day to over an hour. Start small though - but it seems to be helping. My surgeon's goal for me is 185 and i'm almost there. Good luck! (I also track all calories on dailyplate.com which really helped. I maintain about 1300 cals a day. The site is free!)
PigsRFlying 0 Posted December 11, 2007 OMG, am I reading this right?!! Have you lost 168 since August of this year, 2007? WOW! I am trying to eat less carb stuff. I was doing really good there for a little while but now, not so great. Thanks for all that answered!
cbrock1592 0 Posted December 11, 2007 I wish I lost 168lbs this year =) That was from my highest weight. I was 282 when I started WW mid January 2007. So I have lost over 90lbs for the year. Not too bad. I did lose about 50 prior to surgery. Figures I would get approved right after that!
PigsRFlying 0 Posted December 12, 2007 Either way that is so GREAT! Keep it up!
Fastpitch Mom 0 Posted December 12, 2007 I have only lost 29 since my surgery, but I feel great!! I have dropped a couple pant sizes and get compliments all day long. I look at my slow loss as a bit of a blessing because I fear the loose skin. So far, I am staying really toned with the help of my workouts and I would like to keep it that way. Don't worry so much about the number, but more so how you feel and how your clothes fit so much better. Good luck.
