5 days post op

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I had my sleeve surgery on Monday 11/25 and it went well. I had a lot of pain after but day by day it is getting better. I have been staying well hydrated with Water and sugar free pops., but haven’t been able to get much else down except a sip here or there. My question is how long until you have a bowel movement? On the 2 week liquid diet before I was still going, but nothing since the Saturday before surgery and I am wondering if this is normal? Thanks for the help/feedback.

I think it was about a week for me.

Get used to not using a lot of toilet paper - Confused the hell out of me - was a week or so, Now it is about the same - Kinda weird i know from the past, but guess nothing in means nothing out.

If nothing after 5-6 days you may need Dulcolax suppository (Recommend by surgeon ), but avoid bulk laxatives like Metamucil or Fibercom.
