mmkastas 2 Posted November 30, 2019 So, I am not exactly sure where to start so I guess I will just go with the beginning: I was sleeved on 2/15/16 starting weight at 243 by 10/1/16 I had lost 98.8 lbs weighing in at 144.2lbs. 10/10/16, I found out I was pregnant. I had a textbook pregnancy, perfect strong baby boy was born on 6/13/17. I had only gained 30 lbs during my pregnancy. (Please I beat myself up enough, my son was not planned, I was told I wouldn’t be able to have kids but by the grace of God he is here) jump to today. I have gained a total of 55 lbs and hovering at 200. I’ve found myself eating more. And not sure what to do.. I also moved to a different state. Anyway, obviously I failed. I’m not sure how to get back on the right foot. Do I go see a general doctor? Should I just get to a Bariatric specialist? For those who had a revision, how did you go about figuring that out? I’m hoping I don’t have to get one, and I can work on this. But I want to do it the right way. Positive feed back please and thank you!!!

Getting back on track can be done. You may want to call a bariatric surgeon to go over all your options. 3 1 JessLess, gwoodgm, mmkastas and 1 other reacted to this
JessLess 1,163 Posted November 30, 2019 I don't think you failed! I agree with the poster above, find a good PCP, if you don't have one now, dietician, and bariatric surgeon, and tell them about your concerns. See what they think. 2 mmkastas and Healthy_life2 reacted to this
AJ Tylo 1,399 Posted November 30, 2019 How could having a healthy baby be a failure? Nope you are wrong you had a miracle, You have done the journey down and i think you should do it again. You are sleeved already but i would get it checked out, But i would start as if it was day one of surgery - Do the week of liquids, then go to the pureed, and go back to the old way. In the mean time you have the greatest reward. your son! So get healthy again for his sake 3 NancyLF, mmkastas and Healthy_life2 reacted to this
