I am nearing the end of my pre op journey... 9 days til surgery and in two days I need to start the dreaded liquid diet.... Any tips tricks advice or recipes are welcome thank you️️️️

Just get through it. It is only 1 week out of your life and the first chapter of a whole new adventure. It really helps to reframe the experience into a positive instead of something "dreaded." There are going to be a lot of ups and downs on this journey and your decision to be positive and forward looking makes all the difference in the world in how well you navigate the challenges. You are being given an amazing, life changing gift. You will be healthier, stronger, more active, and live longer with better quality than you can imagine right now. @Kimmerz23 I was just about to post the same topic! My surgery is one week from today. I am getting more excited the closer the day gets.

the first two or three days can be a real challenge, but just power through it. It gets easier after that. The pre-op diet for me was the hardest part of the whole thing. Just white knuckle it...it'll be over before you know it!

Stay focused! Try not to put yourself into situations where you are tempted by food or bad eating. I had to do a strict two week liquid diet before surgery and it was tough but doable. You got this.
