Is it normal to lose weight and gain weight because I lost 4 pounds and then I gain to that back

4lbs is well within the range of normal daily fluctuations. Just keep an eye on the longer trends rather than the day to day.

Save yourself the frustration of these daily fluctuations and DON'T weigh daily! Weigh once a week to see more meaningful results.

I pretty hardcore disagree with this. Studies have show that those who lose weight and keep it off weigh themselves often, mostly daily. Also, with as little as we eat, I think its good to make daily changes and see how that affects our weight from day to day. But I understand your sentiment.

Statistics.

If people are driving themselves crazy with daily weighing that's not the thing to do for them. As long as the weight is going into the right direction there is no need for this kind of obsession.

I assume you're asking for stats to back this up? Have a gander, tons here: https://www.google.com/search?q=weighing+daily+for+weight+loss&rlz=1C1GCEA_enUS830US830&oq=weighing+daily+for+weight+loss&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l4.7064j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Lots of places say daily for weight loss.

I'm a data person by nature. I NEED data to back my choices. So I weigh daily.

No. Why should I? It's still statistics and a person is not number 1.256 in some study someone conducted but always an individual in the end.

So if daily weighing drives one crazy, raises anxiety and obsessive behavior, it might be the more sensible decision to abstain from daily weighing as long as they're satisfied with the results.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
