Byrd0315 3 Posted November 11, 2019 I have my consultation appointment coming up and know I will have appointments with a dietician and be tracking my food for at least 4 months. What type of plan do they put you on? Do they go ahead and put you on a plan similar to an eating plan post op?
lvidacovich 372 Posted November 11, 2019 I wasn't given a specific plan pre-op or even for the 2 weeks leading up to surgery. Personally I did low-carb high Protein and that worked well enough to get me to my pre-op weight needed in time. 1 Slownstedy reacted to this
Byrd0315 3 Posted November 11, 2019 So they will likely have a goal weight they want me at prior to the surgery? How much is typically required to lose prior to surgery?

I went to Europe and came back at 352 and only had 3 months to get down to 318 but I did it.
