Im 11 days post op, before surgery I always attended various dance fitness classes! Im missing my fix already! I’m wondering how soon did you all return to exercise/gym? Thanks.

walking right away. Four weeks for most everything else except for weight lifting. I think I had to wait eight weeks for that.

Same here i had to do 8 weeks walking only - Takes 8-12 for you to heal

Everyone gets different advice...may want to check with your surgeon if you are really concerned.

With that said, I was walking immediately and was cleared for all exercise after 4 weeks, within my own limits.

At 6 weeks my surgeon said I could do whatever I wanted.

Every surgeon is different. after 10 days my doctor told me there was no physical activity i could do that would damage what he did to my stomach, only being sore could hold me back. Well it didnt and i started crossfit on day 11 and havent stopped with zero issues. But thats just me. Everyone is different.
